Driven by a passion for innovation and sustainability in logistics, Alicia founded Navig8 Freight Inc. with a clear mission: to move freight more efficiently while minimizing environmental impact. With a strong belief in sustainability, Navig8 Freight is committed to clean energy practices and actively invests in carbon offset initiatives, making sustainability a core value.
With over 12 years of industry experience, Alicia brings deep expertise in freight forwarding and supply chain management. She previously served as VP of Transportation at a Vancouver-based 3PL, overseeing logistics for a 250,000 sq ft warehouse. Her global perspective was shaped while managing airfreight for major accounts and building key trade lanes between Asia Pacific and North America at the second-largest freight forwarding company.
Alicia holds an MBA from the UBC Sauder School of Business (2024), a Diploma in Supply Chain Management, and a BBA from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. She is a proud member of CITT (CCLP designation) and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transportation (CMILT).
Beyond the boardroom, Alicia is a proud mom of two boys and one fur baby. Along with spending time with her family, she enjoys biking, swimming, and learning piano. Alicia is also a dedicated community supporter, volunteering at local schools and mentoring youth in math and career development.
Brenda Bruch

Brenda Bruch is a dynamic Business Development professional with over 15 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. Her proven track record includes growing revenue in competitive territories, expanding client portfolios, and delivering tailored solutions across road, rail, ocean, and air freight.
Brenda’s career has spanned both asset-based carriers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers, but her passion lies in the flexibility and creativity 3PL offers. She thrives on understanding each client’s unique needs and building solutions that combine efficiency, cost savings, and exceptional service.
At Navig8 Freight, Brenda plays a key role in shaping the company’s growth. She’s proud to work with a team that prioritizes clean energy and carbon offset initiatives, aligning her strong sense of responsibility to clients with a commitment to the planet.
Known for her high energy, adaptability, and strong sales acumen, Brenda believes that great service and product knowledge are the foundation of long-lasting client relationships.

Melanie is a skilled Transportation Specialist with extensive hands-on experience in logistics and freight management. At Navig8 Freight, she oversees every step of the shipment process, from providing competitive quotes and placing orders to booking, dispatching, and ensuring seamless, on-time deliveries. She also plays a key role in supporting internal accounting functions, including billing and invoice verification, with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Specializing in ground transportation, Melanie concentrates on trade lanes between Canada and United States. Her deep industry knowledge and practical approach allow her to navigate complex logistics challenges with confidence and clarity.
Known for her meticulous attention to detail, rapid response times, and clear communication, Melanie is dedicated to delivering cost-effective shipping solutions and building lasting client relationships grounded in trust and reliability.
